Hello, my name is Richard "Lafabrick" and I am fifty-three years old. I am French.
After a small dark period between 18 and 21 years old, during my preparatory classes, I took back my little bricks to use them during my architecture studies and rediscovered the LEGO world, with a new approach, without ever really having forgotten it !
Trains - Technic - City, mecha and inspiring movies such as Star Wars, E.T., Wall-e.
It is fantastic to immerse again itself there and to become aware of all potential of the combinations of assemblage!
Welcome to Lafabrick's LEGO® Works.
My creations of trains are centered on years 50-60 and notably steam with the very faithful reproduction of the 141R. I also work on Beyer Garratt Class AD60 (the #6029, to be precise, that is restored in Australia). I also finalize a diesel American, EMD GP7 in the colours of Santa Fe. To accompany these engines, a decor is needed. My job turns, to remain in years "Steam", towards a garage steam. Already accomplished, a Signal Box.
I also love architecture, this is my job. Reproduction of existing buildings is very exciting for me, like a little 1930's house, the Villa Cavrois of Mallet Stevens or great building like the Lille Tower of Christian de Portzamparc.
Otherwise there is ATAT of star Wars and only this model in this topic, I refine the different ladders, the modification of official ATAT of LEGO® in the creation of smaller and more very realistic models...
My others favorites themes are "Back to the future" with the mythical Delorean, the irresistible E.T. or the spacial conquest and the epic APOLLO and therefore an unconditional Space Classic... The eighties, my childhood !
