I graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Manitoba, with 40+ years design practice, 20+ years teaching, 25+ years photographic experience.

This professional backdrop informs my photography beyond photographic expertise.

I understand and appreciate design intent: the architectural envelope, user function and behaviour, and the impact and nuances of natural and artificial light.

I take photographs that accurately depict the realities of volume, mass, light, context and circumstance. I create images that impart emotion, to transform without deforming.

I am prepared for surprise, joy, delight and the unexpectedness of serendipity.
