I’m Shariful Islam, a graphic designer, enthusiast photographer and community engagement officer based in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. With a background in Environmental Science from Independent University Bangladesh, I bring a unique blend of creativity and purpose to my work, bridging design with social impact.

Currently, I’ve been working at IFRC for the past six years, where I specialize in creating art and designs that amplify the voices of marginalized communities, including children, the elderly, and women, while adhering to brand guidelines. My past roles include working with IOM as a Communication Assistant and Graphic Designer, USAID’s Tiger Conservation Project as a Communication Intern, and Save the Children Bangladesh as a Short Consultant IEC Designer. These experiences have honed my ability to merge storytelling with design to drive engagement and awareness.

Beyond my professional work, I actively manage a large social media platform with over 50,000 followers, dedicated to sharing opportunities for youth and raising awareness about environmental and climate change issues. Through this platform, I aim to inspire and empower young people to take action for a sustainable future.

I’m deeply passionate about design, illustration, photography, history and leveraging technology like IoT and AI to create innovative solutions. Inspired by nature and the environment, I channel this into my work and hobbies, which include traveling to natural landscapes, archeological sites, fishing, and immersing myself in music.
