GreaterRestonArtsCenter (GRACE) enriches community life by promoting involvement and excellence in contemporary visual arts. In pursuit of this mission, GRACE provides a year-round program of visual art exhibitions, education programs for all ages, and special events.
History
GRACE was founded in 1974 by artists and art lovers as a source of cultural enrichment for the new town of Reston. From its early beginnings in the Lake Anne Village Center to its current home in Reston Town Center, GRACE continues its role as a leader in the expanding regional arts community.
Today
GRACE is a dynamic arts center providing Northern Virginia's diverse community with abundant opportunities to experience and explore the visual arts through exhibitions, educational programming , the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival , and special events. Whether you are a professional artist or an inquisitive schoolchild, a novice art collector or an experienced connoisseur, an avid gallery goer or a curious passerby, GRACE programs offer rewarding experiences for you to explore art with innovative artists, teachers, and curators.

Become a member of GRACE and support one of the region's most important cultural institutions. Members receive invitations to events, discounts on programs, priority registration, reduced jury fees for artists, and much more. In addition to the generous support of its members, GRACE is also supported by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, the Arts Council of Fairfax County, individual and corporate donations, and grants.
GreaterRestonArtsCenter, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, follows a nondiscriminatory policy in admission, programs, membership, employment, and contracts.
