A: It's not a big deal to me, but I use

Q: Did you go to school for photography?

A: No, I'm self taught. I did a lot of reading, going to photography trade shows and more reading. I've also done a couple of software seminars that are photography related, but mostly I've just done a lot of calculated guessing and messing up!

Q: How do I become a successful photographer like you?

A: Appearances can be deceiving, I'm trying to make it just like you! Maybe my website just looks a little shinier. Seriously though, I get asked this a lot and I still haven't found the answer yet myself. I'm just glad that I'm able to make a living doing what I love the most. I did the alternative for 5 years, and when I quit my corporate job I realized I made the right decision for me. The most important things I've learned are that networking is everything and marketing yourself is difficult. When the right people see your talent, everything else follows.

Q: I'm a model, will you do TFP (shoot me for free)?

A: That depends if I'm doing personal work that requires your exact look, all photo sessions carry a reasonable fee.

Q: How do I schedule a photo shoot?

Q: Will your agency give me a chance and represent me?

A: I'm not sure where people get the idea that I'm an agency and that I provide representation for models, actors and musicians. I don't do that, sorry!
