Ayoze O´Shanahan holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Wales (1997-2001, U.K) and specialized in Communication and Armed Conflicts at the Complutense University of Madrid (2001-2002, Spain). He studied filmmaking and screenwriting at the International School of Cinema and Television in Cuba (2002-2003, EICTV).He was awarded grants on three occasions by entities such as SGAE, EGEDA and the Ibermedia program, as well as by the Iberoamerican Films Crossing Borders (Guadalajara, Mexico), TAREULA II (San Sebastian, Spain), and the Third International Diploma of Creative Documentaries at Valle University in Colombia.

Since he finished his degree, O´Shanahan has been working as a “free lancer” providing contents for tv and press media in many countries, most of them in Latin America, Europe, EEUU and Africa

Ayoze O´Shanahan works have been awarded with more than 15 international prizes and selected in more than 100 film festivals around the world. His last broadcast and published work “The Curse, the Miracle and the Donkey”, was showed in national public televisions of 18 countries in Latin America and had about 20 million of tv audience in the whole continent.

Ayoze O´Shanahan is also a member of Spanish National Federation of Journalists and to the International Federation of Journalists and holds international acreditation card to do his job and be supported by national federations of journalists worlwide.
