I was immediately drawn into Ash Lee's photo stream, a world of clear and emotive visions. Leaving aside that it is some of my favorite subject matter, the untamed natural beauty of the southwest and western US, the signs of human desolation and the deeply personal portraits, there is a strong sense of unspoken narrative to these images which speak to a spirituality rarely found in this day and age.
