Lists are fun:

 

1. my camera is ALWAYS with me or within arm's reach. I don't remember a time when it wasn't. Typical answer, but very true.

 

2. though I have a passion for biology, my heart resides with the arts

5. zoology/informal science education grad student, working on my thesis research

 

6. my favorite days are family time gardening in the yard with my fiance and our two dogs (of course my camera is with me and I'm documenting every second of it)

 

7. I've been med-free from ulcerative colitis for almost 3 years!

 

8. smiling children never cease to make me giggle.

 

9. Please ask me to photograph you, your children or pets! I'd LOVE to! If I reached a point where I had the skill and ability to do this professionally, I would drop everything else in a heart beat. When I'm not thinking about planning our wedding or trying to graduate, I'm thinking about photography and trying to find time to memorize and learn more.

 

10. I'm a bit of a crunchy-granola tree hugger.

12. I brush our dogs' teeth.

 

13. I enjoy reading about the history of photography and searching for old cameras (twin reflex, brownies, etc) in antique stores and flea markets--this goes for all flea market finds, antiques and generally anything wooden with paint chipping off of it--and anything I can use as a prop!

 

14. My Nikon N75 is with me, waiting for the right time (when I have money for film!) to pick it up again.

 

15. I'm very organized and have always dreamed of being my own boss or being a leader professionally. I hope my path in life gets me there.
