My 20 year old brain is telling the 60+ year old body to go race again!!

Must comply, must comply, must comply....

The DT1 project is going to be a '60-'70s period correct shorttracker... Well, maybe some modern day tires, but all else will be pretty much '60s and '70s correct.

I'm starting out with a 1968 DT1 found and purchased on Craigslist.

Some parts, like crankseals will be a challenge to find now that they are out of production. Just makes the project all that much more rewarding when it's done!!

The 1978 TT500 was a Craigslist find as well. It came from the Vancouver Washington area. Lots of water in the frame and motor. No major damage, just needed to be dried out a bit.
