I like to consider myself to be "unique"...there's only one of me in the whole world! (To some, that may be a relief.) I love to laugh, and make others laugh. I am an artist by trade and can't stop myself from being creative...it's how I experience life. I surround myself with music and musicians (I play percussion in a band, and also with my church worship team).

I like to encourage others in the exploration of their creative side. I also love words, I like to write, and deep one-to-one conversations. I'm an "expressive introvert"...I love joking around, but also need my alone time. I love to wander with sketchbook in hand and draw, draw, draw!

My faith is very important to me...I am a Christian, but I enjoy listening to others, and try to understand how they have arrived at their beliefs (or perhaps absence of them). My wife died in 2010 after 30 years of a wonderful marriage. My trust in God, my family, my music & art...all of these have helped me to move forward in a positive way. Even when facing the most difficult years of my life...I still know that I am absolutely blessed!
