I always thought of photography as a key that opens many doors. Whether I’m shooting nature, a wedding or an abandoned building I’m invited into a world not ordinarily visited by others. My senses become heightened while I’m engaged. My soul opens up to whatever is through the viewfinder. Sometimes, small things are revealed like a poem, an unfamiliar emotion or even a smile from nature. Other times bigger revelations occur and new worlds are discovered. Whatever they are I know by being aware of theses revelations I’m able to pour my heart into whatever I’m capturing.
