Over the last couple of years I have developed a passion for photography of religious art, of religious architecture and for the liturgy.

Religious art, architecture and liturgy lead to learning about symbolism, artists, the history and theology of the Church … and saints.

As most religious art is still located in churches, it gives me the opportunity to visit those buildings and attend local liturgies. Because I am an architect, I cannot help but look at the churches’ style, condition and liturgical arrangements.

Coming back to photography, the pictures here are downloadable low resolution samples for your personal use and enjoyment. Should you wish high resolution files or other photographs of the churches sampled here, or of other churches of the national capital area, Ontario and Quebec (for now), do not hesitate to contact me. This may be of particular interest to teachers who would like to illustrate our faith in their classroom or school as well as to priests who would like to obtain photos of their churches and their art. Those photos can then be used for cards, posters, etc.

Oui, que nous soyons tous illuminés par la lumière de la beauté exprimant la splendeur éblouissante de la vérité!

Si vous désirez d'autres photos d'églises de la région d'Ottawa, de l'Ontario ou du Québec, svp, ne pas hésiter de communiquer avec moi. Je pense tout particulièrement aux enseignants ainsi qu'aux prêtres, religieux et religieuses désirant obtenir des photos de leurs églises, monastères, couvents, et surtout de l'art religieux qu'elles logent. Ces photos peuvent être utilisées pour faire des cartes, affiches, etc.
