Haywood Fire-Rescue.

Haywood Fire Dept. was founded in 1879 by the city council and remains the same mission statement to this day. Haywood Fire-Rescue provides Fire, Rescue, ALS non-transport, and Tactical Rescue (confined space, trench, high angle, rope rescue) to 23,500 resadent's. Haywood covers all of Haywood Twp, and parts of Washington, Morgan, and Union Twps. Haywood repondes from two stations, and are working on a third. Haywood uses 5 Engines, 1 Tanker, 1 Heavy rescue, 1 Squad/Rescue/Brush unit, 2 Ladders, 1 Battalion chief truck and 1 Reserve engine.
