I am a painter of nature -and I love flickr! I so very much appreciate all the very talented photographers who allow me to view their works. I collect pics to my favs and use them to help me to understand animals, movement, locations, light, and shadows.

I collect all these beautiful pics but usually only use or study one or two elements in the composition. For example, a particular expression on the face, the way the light hits, the shadows, how mist rises, the shrubs and grass in the foreground, the color of the trees and the way they grow, the way the setting sun reflects on water, or the way water splashes with movement, and so much more ...

Most every evening I visit Flickr and find inspiration!
