Burning designs on gourds, footstools, and other wood items is my favorite way to spend time indoors. I also like painting and other art forms, both doing it and gazing upon the art of others. Freedom of expression is so important!

I love to comment on the works of other Flickr posts and have to admit, some photos really take my breath away! I like to mention it when it happens. If I don't think it's very good, I won't comment on it. Some egos are very fragile!

I used to be a better photographer but that was before the digital age. I like the new cameras because I've saved a fortune not having to buy film, but I haven't figured out my digital camera yet. It is way smarter than I am!
