My works are what I see and how I live.
I go with the flow ,slowly , day by day.
I paint a pond , because it's close to me , I can hear its rippling ,
I can see it glitter , wave , or surge .
I paint the fields that surround me , their rhythms , variable texstures.
I paint the sky and water , the moment when the sky is reflected in the water , and the water in the sky.
They are all but moments , suspended somewhere , beyond time, in an ever peaceful place.
The place where we are not ...
I collect , arrange and combine them, I toy with memories.
It is important that I am in my works. Each of them is a fraction of the moments spent here and now ,
at the time of mist or rain , of silence , or when the ducks cackled mockingly on the lake while the carp pranced.
I have it all under my eyelids and in my fingertips as I transfer the impressions onto fire clay tiles,
mosaic fragments , jigsaws, and I pour them into clay boxes and seal them up.
Let them rattle ...
