Describe myself.....let's see....

I'm a stay at home mom of two beautiful daughters. Prior to that I was an early childhood teacher for 11 years.

I spend way too much time watching reality tv and am addicted to facebook.

I struggle with "being in the moment" vs. thinking about my endless "to do" lists.

Speaking of lists I'm forever making them and find pure joy in crossing things off!

I'm constantly trying to achieve the goal of balancing my authentic self (and those qualities that encompass that) with the business of everyday life!

I love the great outdoors and hope to instill that in my own children. I'm proud of the fact that our family vacations growing up involved roadtrips and tents rather than airplanes and hotels.

I've always maintained some form of creative outlet, be it journaling, playing guitar, songwriting, blogging, scrapbooking, and now photography.

I'm happiest when I'm creating something and I've found the greatest outlet for this: archiving my children's lives through photos. They have inspired me to pitch the point and shoot and enter the SLR world of photography.
