Nis, let me just say that you’re one photographers on Flickr that I evny. I’ve never really been able to achieve the artistic side of photos and that’s something you do masterfully. And yes, you may be right… we’re complete opposites on the surface but I totally agree that we have a connection. Your photos inspire me to look past the technical exercise of taking a shot and really try to find the art in photography. I’m really glad we ran into each other in Macro Monday. I've been part of this wonderful Flickr community for almost a year now, and I feel the time has come to say a few words of appreciation about those fine souls who have made me so welcome here. Nis was one of my first contacts here and as I was slowly dipping my toe in the water he was forever there with words of encouragement and kindness. His photography has - to my untutored eye, anyway - developed apace in the last few months. He is forever challenging the viewer with different perspectives and ideas. His emotions constantly come through in his photos - not an easy task I've discovered. I love the way his photostream is so totally unpredictable and the way he gives us a glimpse of his life through his images.
