When I joined flickr in 2010 I wanted to keep a history of architecture mostly in London. Then flickr decided that you could only have about 800 photos on a free account so I deleted hundreds. Then flickr changed its mind & I spent hours adding photos again. Now we're only allowed 1,000 photos. I feel that hundreds of hours of work and history of architecture have gone down the drain, not just the travelling time but research time too & I've lost interest in flickr.

What a treasure the world of Flicker has found with Carole aka curry15. Every photo is meticulously set up, centered, without obstructions with perfect focusing and lighting. If the photo isn't right, it doesn't get posted. But the photo is just the beginning of the post. Every photo has a wonderfully researched description. By enjoying Carole's photographs, one could become well educated in the architecture, history and beauty of England , a country which I personally love. I am so honored to have found Carole on Flicker. Not only have I enjoyed her spotless photography and descriptive writing, she has become a close personal friend. Nelson E.
