Photography is really just another way of telling the stories of the subject and the photographer. Although a beautiful, landscape photograph is a joy to behold, for me, it is not until there is a person in the image that it becomes a story. When that person is unaware of the camera, or successfully ignores it and displays their unique, human grace, then the photograph becomes a compelling story.

Photographs of daily life help me understand a city's citizens better and my own place in the real world. I search for unusual, paradoxical and ironic images, but I find them so elusive and challenging to capture well.
