I have been into photography for over half of a century. I just recently found Flickr and thought I would share some of my images with you. My main interest are landscapes and flowers and my favorite places are the Amercian West, Utah, Montana, Arizona, Colorado, British Colombia and of course my home State California. However, in my humble opinion, there is no place like Alaska and the Yukon for the Landscape photographer. My first trip there was a year after Alaska became a State it took twelve days by car from San Francisco to get to Anchorage. Since that time I made least thirty visits by car and by cruise ship, it never gets dull. For the last fifteen years, I have been flying to Anchorage around the middle of September, rent a SUV and explore Alaska's fall color from Anchorage to Haynes, from Fairbanks to Valdez. Two weeks I look forward too all year.

Flowers are my other interest; I have a nice garden with many cacti that reward me with beautiful flowers almost all year long.

Some of my images were contest winners, some where published in photo magazines, but on Flickr I just want to share an old man's hobby.
