I have 30 years experience in the 'aftermarket' - peripherals, media, printer supplies for use with 'OEM' products.

 

Incartek finds, introduces, evaluates develops, and exploits business opportunities primarily in the office products and computer consumables business. It is affiliated with ICFBA, the International Confederation for Business Advancement, and operates worldwide.

2: International Confederation for Business Advancement (ICFBA)

I'm a senior accredited partner with ICFBA,- a large international business group which is involved in many different types of businesses, such as public sector tendering, general finance, project funding, insurance, commercial offshore banking, import/export, international manufacturing services, supply of raw materials, telecoms, international marketing, S.A.P. IT services, and various other businesses.

I am also an associate consultant of Excelsis-Enterprises. Excelsis Enterprises is a broad-based international management consultancy and business services organisation serving blue chip companies, SME's and the public sector through long-term relationships. Established over 14 years ago we work in the areas of strategy, sales development, business improvement, and risk and resource management.

 

Whist I specialise in the office products industry - and am building up businesses for several companies in office stationery, office furniture, inkjet and toner products creative inkjet papers and and digital art paper, my understanding of FMCG, B2B and commodity markets - particularly in aftermarket situations enables me to support a wide range of industries and business types

  

4: My Background

I am a well known figure in the European electronic supplies and peripheral products industries. A consultant to it since 1987, I have provided strategic guidance to Kodak, Verbatim, Memorex, EMC2 ICI Imagedata - some projects as an associate of Arthur D. Little.

 

As an export management consultant I set up distribution networks and/or production facilities for several US companies - Jetfill, Toner Plus, PM, ATI, Majestic International as well as computer leasing companies.

 

In late 1996, I was asked by a group of European private labellers to establish a master distribution company in the compatible inkjet cartridge business taking US and European (principally German) technology and quality standards and Chinese manufacturing. Thus the Container Club, which I directed, was born. He established a long term strategic relationship with a Chinese manufacturer, which continued until 2005. The Container Club was Europe's largest master distributor of compatible cartridges.

 

Prior to 1987, I was Director of Product Planning for Unisys, and Director of Planning for the international operations of Memorex. In all, I have over 30 years experience in aftermarket distribution.

 

I attended the City University, London where I studied economics, statistics and MSc management science. I also qualified as a chartered management accountant, and I have a working knowledge of five languages.

 

I am also the author of Brand Freedom Day

 

What motivates me

I love making business happen for people. Giving them the benefit of my experience and connections - connections - connections. Being a 'father figure'. Making some money myself is a by-product - but not a key motivator.

  

5: Family & Faith

I have been happily married to Ruth for 32 years. Ruth is a 'retired' head teacher, who has more to do than she can cope with as she cannot say "No". I have a good home, wife, company and though we have not got our own children - a family to look after. 

 

Ruth is really getting into digital photos now - and travel - we like to buzz off for a week rather regularly! 

 

Ruth and I are evangelical Christians who believe that serving our Lord Jesus who gave Himself for us is risen and who lives to intercede us - is greater than making money.

  

6: My ideal customers...Ideal for Incartek...

My ideal customer is - a company say currently doing £1-£5m business (5-15 employees) which needs to develop into a new market area. Probably entrepreneurially managed - but feeling that is a limitation.

 

Ideal for Innovart...

My ideal customer is a company wishing to make money from high quality inkjet papers.
