Mark is now training men on the west coast and Europe to lead this initiation.
He has facilitated wilderness survival and spiritual passages for teens and adults since 1994. Mark is inspired by the heroes journey model and the oral history of his ancestors and native people around the world.
Current projects include conscious parenting training for people interested creating meaningful family traditions within a context of common community vision. As well he is engaged in a national dialogue to design an extensive elder training process that will facilitate the empowerment of elder consciousness in our culture. His most recent initiative (2010) is developing an international training process for Art of Mentoring facilitators, leaders in creating regenerative culture and nature connection.
“ Our work at this time in history is to be extremely innovative and bold. Manifesting this kind of change will demand risk-taking of all kinds from people of all ages. It’s a great time to be alive.”
