I bought my first DSLR in 2008 and it's truly been a joy to learn some of the basic principles and techniques of photography.

Since I joined Flickr, I've learned so much...the images by other members are so inspiring! Flickr has showcased the incredibly creative side of photography. I love that this medium has helped me to look more closely at the beauty in the world around me.
