Hi there, I am currently a stay at home mom to two children, son (2) and daughter (6). I am a CPA and worked for a public accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, for about 13 years up until my son was born. When my daughter was born I worked a 3 day a week schedule which was really great but when my son was born I decided I wanted to stay at home with him. The past couple years has been a big adjustment for me and sometimes I do miss my "other life" in the corporate world but I am blessed and thankful to be able to be home for my kids. Its so nice to be here for my daughter when she gets on and off the bus everyday. Other than crunching numbers I have always loved cooking and baking. Since I have been home I have really gotten into decorating cakes/cupcakes and cookies. Its a fun creative outlet for me, my "me time". I find any excuse I can get to make someone a cake or cookies. There is so much I want to try and do but with the kids still little the only time I really do my projects is at night when they are in bed, so time is limited. If only I didn't need any sleep I would be all set.! I have used CakeCentral.com as a resource for information and ideas for many years. I was looking for more ideas again and somehow my computer lead me to Flickr. I have found pictures from so many accomplished and talented people here. My decorating skills are nowhere close to what I have seen but it certainly gives me something to aspire to. Thanks to everyone who shares their beautiful work!
