This is long overdue - so here it goes. Lucy is a great photographer and a great contact (I dare say friend) who has always been there with a kind word, a great comment, or a humorous aside. She inspires me with the variety and breadth of her photography, and I'm lucky to be able to appreciate and learn from her work. I have to say this again, it's more than her beautiful photographic vision because I am always anticipating her pungent observations/comments and and her funny/warm take on life. There something to be said when looking at Lucy’s stream and being able to pick up her wonderful aura. Her style exudes elegance and style, sophistication and class. All these characteristic, evident in her captures. But most importantly, she has a down to earth personality, a wonderful mommy who will take time from her busy schedule to answer questions. In the short amount of time that I’ve known her, I am glad to call her a true and wonderful flickr friend. Lucy, with diamond on one hand, a binky on the other, and staring at the computer screen with the words Flickr flashing…. How does the song go, … lucy in the sky with diamonds… the girl with the kaleidoscope eyes .” She’s multifaceted, like looking thought a kaleidoscope… every which way, talent flows…

Lucy, the lady who brings out the beauty in everything around her! Shes such a sweetie pie, she pampers me a lot and i love to get pampered by her! :) But apart from the pampering, hers is one of the first photostreams i visit every day, to see what she has come up with. Her policy is "Freeze! Let me shoot you!" ;) She doesnt leave anyone or anything to be left 'unphotographed', so Japanese food makes its appearance in her photostream from time to time. So does cutlery, wine glasses, table mats, mirrors, and oh, perfume bottles, another fetish of our lady. Its truly a pleasure going through ur photos, Lucy.. its more like a going through a treasure chest, only made more beautiful by bokehs. :) And so nice to have a friend like you who makes me laugh all the time.. hugs!!! kisses!!!

I would like to congratulate Lucy and very proud to write this testimonial about Lucy's photo being selected for Travel + Leisure magazine publication. Lucy's photos have an unique way of showing people's life through her camera by the beauty and artistry, continue presenting amazing lighting, graceful color, especially the indoor aspect, bokeh and beautiful shoes that I really adore. Also those Japanese food photos are just awesome images, which often lure me to decide to eat some food in the mid of the night when I view her photos. Moreover, heartwarming descriptions add much feeling so full of life to the photo themes. Lucy's gorgeous photostream is where I always come to see as her photos are more than just images. Lucy is one of the most creative and versatile photographers I have seen on Flickr. Her forte is taking ordinary objects--shoes, teacups, wind chimes--and turning them into objects of beauty and complexity. Lucy's images make us look twice and then three times--how did she do that?? Lucy is a master of bokeh. Gorgeous circles of light dance through many of her images and in my favorite ones the bokeh evokes another dimension to the picture: fragrant steam rising from a cup of tea or lovely notes coming from a wind chime. But that's not all: even though Lucy tells us flowers aren't really her thing, her flowers are creative, and gorgeous. She's also captured delightful images of children. And warmed out hearts with creative and romantic engagement and wedding photos. Finally, Lucy's a great Flickr friend and I always enjoy her thoughtful and encouraging comments.
