I am a student of The Aesthetic Realism of Eli Siegel and have happily been so for many years. I am learning that,

" All beauty is a making one of opposites, and the making one of opposites is what we are going after in ourselves."

Learning this principle has enabled me to be a better photographer and a better person.

I also take The Critical Inquiry Class taught by Aesthetic Realism Consultant, Artist and art critic Dorothy Koppelman, to whom I am immensely grateful to for her teaching us what makes for true art.

As of November 2017, our Dear teacher Dorothy Koppelman passed away. Her class, "The Critical Inquiry" continues to be taught by Marcia Rackow, Carrie Wilson and Ken Kimmelman
