This is Sheikh Mehedi Morshed form Bangladesh. I’m an undergrad student, studying BSS in Media Studies & Journalism. I’m doing photography from few years. In this short period, I’ve attended about thirteen exhibitions, such as Airtel Break the circle By IUTPS, 2. IIUPE 2011 By NSUPC, 2011 Celebrating life by Daily Star, The Daily Star Odommo Chattagram Photo Exhibition, 2012, Access to life By Ecorps. I got prize form two of these exhibitions. Besides this, my publications are The Independent Young and Independent & 2012 book fair (vabnona vora chonndo chora book) published by Somageet.

Though I never thought of being a photographer but now it has become my passion. Basically I prefer landscape and portrait. But I try all kinds of photography. One of my elder brothers inspired me a lot. When I was a newbie I didn’t have the DSLR camera. But I saw that my brother was doing a great photography with a simple compact camera. Later he then taught me many techniques and became my inspiration.

Photography gives me inner peace. A good photograph makes me satisfied. I want to share my countries beauty with the world through my photography. I want to make people smile through my photographs. Sometimes people will get sad by seeing my photos. In future I want to see myself as a documentary photographer and as a great photo journalist.

I'm still learning and trying to develop myself ..
