I use a simple digital camera - if you're interested, Fujifilm FinePix A820. I like it because it has a nice big preview screen...

Very little, if any, editing is done on any photos. I only ever adjust the brightness and/or contrast, mostly to get rid of window reflections or make up for bad lighting conditions.
