Sian Fenwick is an applied artist specialising in unique vintage inspired keepsake jewellery and wall hung collage.

"I am inspired by colour, fabrics, vintage, memory, keepsakes, heirlooms, birds, family, childhood, textiles, nursery rhymes, storybooks, photographs and life!"

Traditionally charms were given as keepsakes, each holding their own narrative so evoking nostalgic memories of the occasion on which they were given.

Sian is interested in the way a small fragment of a bead, colour or image can trigger these unique feelings. By visiting vintage fairs and junk shops to collect her ‘treasures’ she gathers inspiration from the intriguing discarded fragments of a secret past.

Sian has also created her own digitally enhanced mementoes inspired by her holiday watercolour illustrations. With this eclectic mix of new and old she creates individual beaded trinkets as unique keepsake jewellery and wall hung collage.
