"It feels like forever ago. It feels like yesterday."
A pretty adequate summary of how my favourite pictures make me feel.
Here you'll find film photography with old(ish) cameras.
Flickr is my self-reference point for anything I may have done using cameras that ends up vaguely having some photographic merit. Some photos are holiday/party snaps that I think turned out surprisingly well. Some of them turned out close to what I was aiming for. Some are a complete failure in terms of intention, but have gained something else somewhere along the way somehow.
The majority of the stuff I upload is .jpg transfers of 35mm prints that I had developed somewhere commercial, though a small portion is dedicated to cataloguing photographic attempts using smartphone cameras too.
My main cameras are a hand-me-down Yashica FX-2 and a Pentax P30N I picked up for £40. The filmstock is whatever I can get my hands on; typically Fujifilm ISO200, though occasionally I get some B&W C41 process film. I used to use Ilford for B&W, but development became really expensive.
I use 3 lenses with the Yashica: a Tamron 28mm/2.5 prime, a Tamron 80-210mm/f3.8/4 tele/macro, and a Yashica 55mm/f2.0 prime.
I currently only have one lens for the Pentax, a Conison Auto MC 35mm/f2.8.
So far I think the Yashica with the 55mm lens is my favourite combo.
