I am sorry, but this will be my last photo of my dogs I will post

public. If I have marked you as a friend, which I trust you will act

like one, you will still be able to view my dog photos. I have thought

long and hard about this decision, in fact, I almost did this a year

ago. I am tired of people taking and using my photos of my dogs

without asking my permission. Last week one of my flickr buddies found

a dog site with lots of flickr photos on and warned me to look for my

dogs. Sure enough, they were using 6 of my photos and I found 5 more

of my flickr buddies with dog photos on there! After enough of us

flickrites wrote the guy, he got the message and took all of the

photos off his site. I have also had my dog photos used for "FREE"

downloads to your cell phone, blogged without asking my permission and

I even had a flickr friend see one of my photos blown up to poster

size and used in a store front window in Los Angeles, CA.! (see photo below) Don't get

me wrong, I am not mad or angry, I am flattered that they liked my

photos so well, they wanted to use them. I am just disappointed

people do not have the common courtesy to ask permission first and let

me make the decision of where and how I want my photos used. And good

things do happen on flickr......I have made some GREAT friends and I cherish that! Take care flickrites!

I think you can tell a lot about someone not only by looking at the photos they have taken, but also the ones they have saved in their Favorites.

Got a Canon 20D for Christmas 2005 and I love it, but I still have so much more to learn! Finding the time is the problem, just not enough hours in the day!

UPDATE: Got a Canon 7D in 2011!

Wish I had more time to flickr, so many fantastic photos and lots of cool people, but there is so much more life to enjoy and explore and I sure don't want to miss any of it! :>)
