Along with his brother Gunther, Bergkameraden was to revolutionize the art of light weight climbing in the alps. Light weight to the point of soloing routes nude. Except for cow hide cod pieces, crampons and ice axes, these men conquered every major line and enjoyed the company of many fine milk maids along the way. Unlike the modern athletes of today sustaining their energy levels with powerbars and gaterade, Bergkameraden thrived on a diet of alpine goats milk, pork knuckles and at least 3 vienna schnitzels a day. And always washed down with a few steins of his favorite beer - Breastmunchen !!!
