I've loved taking photos since I was a child. My first camera was similar to a Brownie. For years, I was considered by relatives as the "family photographer."

Eventually, I lost interest in getting photos of people, and very interested in getting photos and videos of birds. My subjects have been mostly in Florida and where I live, NYC. (LES is the Lower East Side.)

I also love taking photos of trees, esp. when they're changing color in the fall and the new buds, leaves and flowers in the Spring.

In addition to outdoors, I take many photos from my balcony. In addition to birds -- including Red-tail Hawks -- and foliage, I love getting photos of cloud shapes, also aircraft and watercraft. I think it's the challenge of a flying or otherwise moving object which is appealing.

And, of course, I've always loved getting photos and videos of my pets.
