I'm an award-winning landscape and travel photographer, who was born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne and now lives in the ancient market town of Hexham, Northumberland. I took my first photograph at the age of 14, when my parents gave me a Kodak Instamatic for Christmas, and I've been been making photographs ever since.

My work has appeared in a number of national magazines. I regularly write articles and provide photography for 'Beautiful Britain' magazine, as well as writing and illustrating a monthly regional walk for 'North East Life'. I'm also a frequent contributor to 'Living North'.

Exhibitions of my work are held around the region throughout the year, and I greatly enjoy communicating my enthusiasm for photography with my extensive programme of photography workshops and holidays.
