English. A 'Scouser' from Liverpool.
My aim is to help and encourage contributors plus research and identify military aircraft displayed by them on 'flickr'.
I only use internet based research.
Have always been an aviation enthusiast.
I take great interest in unique, authentic and genuine historical archival pictures of mainly
US NAVY aircraft published on 'flickr'.
My interest is purely academic in researching and identifying the pictures.
It is not my intention to dominate a site or deny any viewer the pleasure of the pictures.
When my research is exhausted for one historical set or for those placed by me in one of my many 'flickr' Galleries, I move on to another.
I hope my contributions help all viewers and welcome all positive or helpful feedback.
Your contribution certainly increases my understanding and knowledge.
The internet is a forever ephemeral and transient phenomena.
It constantly changes and evolves and is directly prey to the vagaries and whims of humanity.........
what may be there one day may not be the next -
so grab 'retrieve' an image or piece of information while it's available and label it accurately
for posterity -
it will most certainly not be there forever..........
build up an archive of material that interests you and rewards will be reaped in the future
for someone else out there who will one day need it...........
Please bear that in mind...........
