Adult collector who seeks to have the most diverse collection ever (all ethnicities, ages, looks, sexual orientations--all human diversity). Loves customizing dolls and action figures by cutting hair, tattooing, etc... Has been making clothes for years (though not very well I'd say).

I'm tired of the bland people Mattel often puts out (neither attractive nor hideous, just boring). So, recently I started branching out and buying "boy-toys" aka action figures (GI Joes, Dragon military, movie-inspired characters, etc.). Many have highly detailed, real-looking faces (in ways Mattel can't touch) though the bodies are horrible and break easily (despite being more expensive in most cases). The focus is clearly 8 million degrees of flexibility and weapons/accessories. In this way, Mattel's Barbie Basics Male Models are the height of sexy bodies admittedly!

Recently I decided to try bringing my folks to a higher level of customization by attempting to alter body types...making some "real people" with imperfect physiques. I want REAL. After all, some people are the beautiful people and some are Character Actors. Well, I want my character actors to have real character!
