I am a quilter, and I do all of my quilting on a treadle. I love treadling, and I have 18 machines, 10 of them treadles. I only have 2 machines younger then 50 years old! I'm a proud member of Treadle On. Go People Powered machines!!

I love vintage quilts in general. Part of that is I grew up with quilts my grandmother made, even one she won in a raffle.

I have a special liking for 30s, as that was the kind I saw during growing up. My grandmother was 93 when she died two years ago, and I was lucky to have her for as long as I did.

I love quilting. I started when I was given some fabric(mostly vintage) and needed something to do with it, otherwise I would of had to give it away.

Working on my newer singer(about 5 years old at the time) and having problems every little bit, as I didn't know how to sew, I made a quilt. 60 9 inch blue squares, to do a twin size quilt. It still isn't done...

Now I am better at it, I am a lot more accurate, and my points match 80% of the time!

I have a lot of fun Quilting, and I hope to do it for many years.
