Mayumi Ishida / painting,installation,sound artist

In each works, I try to depict harmony using shapes and colours that derived from tracing the opposing elements existing in the nature and human beings. Since my childhood, when I listened to music and sounds, I sensed shapes and colours or even a cityscape appearing on my mind. This experience is the inspiration for my creativity.
