Greenproofing seeks to increase community participation in the green movement. As industry and government move toward greater environmental controls, new jobs and small businesses will be required for innovation, implementation and maintenance of these new eco-friendly and sustainable technologies and modes of production.

For Greenproofing, this is an opportunity for all urban communities to not only address long-term environmental degradation in their neighborhoods � inundated with sewage treatment plants, bus depots, and gas stations -but to also benefit from the new market and labor demands that this movement has created.
