I am a wife, mother, and grandmother of several. My favorite place to be, besides snuggling with grand babies, is at the beach. We go a lot during the fall/winter/spring times. Peaceful and quiet that time of year.

I used to teach college but due to health reasons had to retire last year. But I'm an avid quilter and that more than keeps me busy. I've also done many other hobbies and passions from oil painting to raising and showing dogs. We love to travel and photography is our passion when we go. It's just not often enough right now.

I live in Western Washington state in a very rural area. Hubby and I currently have grandson living with us while he attends college to become a commercial helicopter pilot. Scares me to death. But I will support all of the kids with whatever dream they wish to follow.
