Photography has been both a professional pursuit and a lifelong passion for me, and I bring not only technical skills but also strong customer service, time management, and organizational abilities developed over many years of professional leadership. I retired from my Dean position at Guilford Technical Community College on September 1st, 2025, and am looking for a part-time side hustle that incorporates my passion for photography, an d the niche of Real Estate Photography.

Over a decade ago, I worked on a side project photographing commercial buildings for a contractor in Ohio. This experience introduced me to real estate and architectural photography, and I delivered professional-quality images to showcase completed projects. Since then, photography has remained an important part of my life, as I continue to refine my skills in composition, lighting, and editing.

Beyond photography, my 20 year career as a higher education leader demonstrates transferable strengths that align with real estate photography needs. I have built a reputation for attention to detail, meeting strict deadlines, and collaborating with diverse clients and teams to ensure excellent results. I am confident these qualities will translate directly into delivering exceptional real estate images.

I would welcome an opportunity to contribute my photography skills and professional experience on a part-time basis to a Real Estate Media company in the surrounding area. Living in Graham, NC, I fall between Greensboro, Raleigh, Burlington, Durham, Chapel Hill, which would make me accessible to a wide service area. My current Canon Digital SLR camera is over 10 years old, so I am prepared to invest in the necessary equipment to be successful in a part-time / independent role.
