My name is Kerry Rutherford, and I am the busy Mummy of 2 little Boys, and Wife to my gorgeous hubby Dale!

I am completely self taught, and only started decorating cakes a couple of years ago, when I made my eldest Son's 3rd Birthday cake. From that very first cake, I had friends asking me to make cakes, then friends of theirs contacted me for cakes, then friends of theirs.......you get the picture! Before long I was spending every evening in my kitchen, decorating cakes for people I'd never met! My Husband suggested designing myself a website and setting up as a proper business, and I haven't looked back! I would never have dreamed about jumping in at the deep end without the love and encouragement of my friends and family.

My intention to have a small home-run business has rapidly escalated and I am hoping to open a shop in the next couple of years, once my youngest Son starts school.

I absolutely adore my job - who wouldn't love working with cake all day?! I'm looking forward to meeting other cake decorators and sharing hints and tips.
