My first camera was a "Minox 35 ML f/2,8-16" (1986). It was one of the smallest 35 mm ever built. Its main way of operation was aperture priority with manual focus. I enjoyed carrying it almost everywhere to document my service in the army and to bring back memories from my hunting trips a sea; I am sorry to say that it was "killed" during a hunting trip in rough weather in 1994. Then followed 10 years with a "Olympus superzoom 120"; it was never the same joy again to take photos and I stooped playing with light and retired the camera. Then years without a camera until 2008 when I got digital and bought a Richo R8 and started to play with light again. But I found that is was impossible to bring back the collars I saw at dawn and I missed the possibility to take photos on aperture priority. Then I took the step and decided to try out a DSLR and in April 2009 I got my Nikon D90.

Happy days has stated again - but I must humble admit that it is a learning process – bought regarding techniques and aesthetic because it’s so simple to take photos. My favourite lens is the Nikkor 50 mm f/1, 4 D, it makes the camera very handy and people do not see to notice that I have a camera because the lens is so small.
