Most of my photos are taken because of my interest in Local History.

Following the burning of the former Rialto Cinema and Dance Hall in the "Toxteth Riots" of 1981, I found out where all Liverpool's cinemas had been located.

So I bought a Russian Zenith camera and photographed all the sites in 1982 where cinemas had been.

Since then I've branched out into other buildings, especially former banks.

My Albums should give a better idea of my interests.
