As with so many of us....been this way my entire life...it is now 62 years since I knew I was different and tried on my first bra at 8 years old.....I try to blend---I'm not into glamour..I just trying for a presentable, respectable day to day look...for me..besides there is pretty much zero day to day glamour where I live?

I was on light doses of hormones and T blockers for well over 10 years with the plan to transition after retirement. I saw a therapist, the entire transition process was in motion -- but my long term plan for transition did not work out for multiple reasons especially because of family and health issues---but...I am now back on low dose HRT for the past two years (Progestrone mostly) and I find myself comfortable with, me being really me, nearly 50% of the time...so perhaps, after all, this is the best, most simple, solution for me personally....

I try to remember there is no rule book for us on any of this---?

We all just do the best we can...? My generation had to figure it out as we went---?

I will say for sure, it does get better as you get older...and surprisingly for me getting older and gaining weight has been a plus, the curves actually appeared well--- finally---- and at this age there is no longer the pretty or die ongoing mental argument raging in your head...it feels great to be the nice but crazed artistic, older aunt or the weird cat lady next door.... I have also found it so so weird that once you hit a certain age one's orientation modifies and you totally start to loose that "ashamed" factor that hangs over us all with this.....When out and about, i have never had a real problem (yet) so I guess for my area I blend in well enough. I'm not a nightlife person, I'm more the hermit/homebody introvert...so I don't have any night clubbing photo's or the like----

What you see here is all me, what curves I have, I developed over time with HRT...it takes time but have faith it does happen...I manage to get by in the male mode, mostly, an occasional "mamm" from a delivery guy (which I adore when it happens) but no real problems as ugh--male..if you discount, a few, shocked at the girls, EKG techs twice a year..LOL!

I am terrible at photography and any type of photo-shopping is literally beyond me so my photo's are honest....

I don't use filters or App's on my face and ladies I'm sure it's fun once in awhile--but if you use an app or filter on yourself all the time, in all your photos we never get to see the real you and honestly--isn't that what we are here for--?

I cannot believe that some people will contact an old girl like me with photo's of their private parts and Flickr mail come on's

I am completely NOT INTERESTED in anything any of you guys emailing me about what you want to do with or to me....! I am waaaaay to old for that now and probably so are you!

If your photo collection is nothing but sexually orientated, i.e. dick photo's ---- I will block you...Your life is your own but...I'm just not into that aspect of Flickr....there is more to life to me so...
