I've just retired from over 20 yrs as a Girl Scout volunteer.

I am also a long time family genealogist with roots in Vernon County WI, Milwaukee, Ohio, and many of my lines started in Jamestown, VA. Lines in Vernon County are Larson, Hall, Guist, Wells and many more.

I wish I could visit WI to see the places I have researched for 24 years...visit graves and do on sire research for information I can't get anywhere else..but that can't happen. I love seeing Flickr photos of those areas...and wish people would take some really good cemetery photos so I could look for names on headstones ! lol

I love most types of sewing, machine embroidery design, quilting, weaving, etc etc. I'm not very good at any one thing but enjoy my attempts anyway! I love Norwegian rosemaling although time has not permitted me to do mauch of it..
