I am an art major and self-taught freelance photographer who gravitates toward all things Architectural. I see the geometry in my mind's eye and incorporate it in all my photos. It is just the way I see the images I shoot.
I worked in NYC for 35 years as a Freelance Photojournalist and Architectural photographer. I retired-- ha! and moved to Savannah seven years ago. Savannah poses new challenges for me, and I will continue photographing as best I can.
As of late, my fibromyalgia keeps me indoors, but I do look forward to getting out and about again with help from my medications and some good luck. I also suffer from ADD, so everything I do around here is very haphazard and probably confuses the hell out of people. Recently I had a stroke which has slowed me down but not out.
If your interested in my Gear, I travel light, I use a Nikon D500 w/ 18 to 70 or an 18 to 200 Nikkor zoom lenses and a Nikon Speedlight 6000. I use a Fuji XE2s as a backup camera. I also have older Nikon cameras I break out from time to time.
Recently I have fallen in love with Fuji-X cameras after shooting Nikon for years. Fuji is a wonderful creative camera, perfect for the type of work presented here on Flickr.

Testimonials
It is obvious you have a wonderful eye for great composition and superb detail in your images and those of other photographers. I like the fact your favourites are all similarly very good images. Best wishes in your photography!! David H
