THE BOREAL FOREST PHOTO PROJECT: www.borealforestphotos.com It's never been done before: eight photographers, one pilot and one editor all with a dream and a mission: take outstanding aerial photos of Canada's Boreal Forest from east to west and across the four seasons. Eight photographers, a pilot, and a year later, a jaw-dropping portfolio of images meant to show the immense beauty of this land and the incredibly varied terrain from north to south from east and west; fall, winter, spring and summer. What you see is the result of thousands of miles of flying low over this vast mostly unpopulated country, to capture the best, the most interesting images to educate us, elevate the status of this enormous threatened resource.
