Since retiring from teaching in 2006 I have kept busy by embarking on several enterprises. I have constructed an HO scale model railway 'Roanoke Roundhouse' which is for exhibition use. I have taken on the role of editor of the Great Central Railway Society journal Forward (see www.gcrsociety.co.uk/Forward.html). And my photography has benefited from the purchase of a Nikon D5200. The photos placed on Flickr are mainly transport related but others do appear mainly from travelling and exploring other places.
